How to Schedule a Work Order
On Your Computer (Browser Version):
You’ve got two ways to book that next service call or installation—choose what fits your workflow!
Option 1: Schedule from the Schedule Page
- Jump into your Schedule: Click on the Schedule page—your virtual dispatch board.
- Pick the Time: Click the starting time slot for your work order and drag your cursor to cover the duration needed (let’s say, a morning job from 9–11am).
- Add Details: In the pop-up, select your customer and enter a job title (like “Water Heater Repair” or “Spring Lawn Cleanup”).
- Assign Your Tech: Pick the team member who’ll crush the job.
- Choose the Location: If your customer has multiple addresses (think property managers!), select the right one.
- Finalize: Hit “Add” to lock it into your schedule—no double bookings, no headaches.
Option 2: Schedule from the Customer Page
- Find the Client: Navigate to the customer’s record and hop into the Service Requests tab.
- Start a New Request: Click “Add New” and fill in the job title.
- Choose the Address: Where’s the job happening? Pick the correct location.
- Add a Description (Optional): Share any extra details that help your tech prepare.
- Set the Time: Enter the start and end times for the job.
- Save: Hit “Add” and you’re good to go. Heads up: Assign a technician to these jobs after creation so they appear on your tech’s calendar!
On Your Mobile App (iOS & Android):

Option 1: Schedule from the Schedule Page
- Open the Schedule Tab: Tap the big plus sign (➕) to start.
- Select ‘Service Request’: You’ll see the request form.
- Add the Job Title: Describe the service (“HVAC Tune-Up” or “Leak Fix”).
- Skip Service Request ID: Leave this blank—RazorSync will create it for you!
- Choose Start/End Time: Select when you want the job handled.
- Pick the Customer & Address: Tap to select the client, and choose the right address if needed.
- Confirm: Tap the green checkmark to save. Just like that, your job is booked!
Option 2: Schedule from the Customer Page
- Find the Customer: Tap “Customer” and select the right client.
- View Service Request History: Scroll down and tap the plus sign (➕).
- Describe the Job: Enter the job title.
- Skip Service Request ID: Make life easy—leave it blank.
- Set Start/End Time: Pick your window.
- Location Check: If needed, confirm or select the job address.
- Save: Tap the green checkmark to lock it in.
