How to Fix Slow Loading or Spinning Issues in Razor Sync by Clearing Your Browser Cache

If Razor Sync is loading slowly, spinning, or not loading at all on your computer—but other users in your office can sign in without problems—this usually indicates a browser cache issue on your device. Follow these steps to clear your cache and cookies to resolve the issue.

Steps to Resolve (Google Chrome):

  1. Click the three dots in the top-right corner of your Chrome browser.
  2. Select Delete Browsing Data from the dropdown menu.
  3. In the pop-up window, set the Time range dropdown to All time.
  4. Ensure the following three boxes are checked:
    • Browsing history
    • Cookies and other site data
    • Cached images and files
  5. Click Delete from device.
  6. Close Chrome completely (all windows) and then reopen the browser.
  7. Try logging into Razor Sync again.

For Other Browsers:

If you use Microsoft Edge or Safari, the process is similar. Search for "clear cache and cookies [your browser name]" to find specific instructions for your browser.

⚠️ Important Tips & Things to Avoid:

  • Always close and reopen your browser completely after clearing cache. Simply refreshing the page may not fully apply the changes.
  • Make sure the time range is set to "All time" and not just "Last hour" or "Last 24 hours." Partial clearing may not resolve the issue.
  • First confirm that other users can access Razor Sync successfully. If no one in your office can log in, this is likely a system-wide issue (not a cache problem), and you should contact Razorsync support instead.
  • Browsers store cached data to make websites load faster, but outdated cached data can cause pages to load incorrectly, display old information, or fail to load entirely. Clearing cache regularly can prevent these issues.
