How to Generate Pre-Made Reports from a Customer Profile
If you need to quickly view or share customer account information, you can use the pre-made reports available directly from the customer profile. These reports provide instant snapshots of service history, financials, notes, and attachments without any additional configuration.
Steps to Generate a Report:
- Open the Customer Profile for the account you want to report on.
- Locate and click the Run Report button (found directly below the customer details section).
- A pop-up window will appear with several report options—check the box next to the report type you need:
- Service Request History – Shows scheduled work orders
- Customer Notes – Displays all documented customer notes
- Customer Attachments – Lists attachments added to the customer profile
- Service Request Notes – Shows notes added to work orders
- Work Orders – Lists scheduled work orders (similar to Service Request History)
- Work Order Service Items – Details service items on work orders
- Work Order Service Forms – Shows completed service forms
- Work Order Attachments – Lists attachments added to work orders
- Customer Balance – Displays invoices and payments received (commonly used for financial snapshots)
- Click Print to download a PDF of the report, or click Print and Email to automatically send a PDF copy to the customer's email address on file.
⚠️ Important Callout / Things to Avoid:
These reports are NOT customizable. You cannot modify the fields, filters, or formatting of pre-made reports. If you need a custom report with specific data points or date ranges, you will need to use the custom reporting tool instead. Also, note that "Service Request History" and "Work Orders" contain similar information and often go hand in hand—choose based on whether you need a high-level summary or detailed work order data.
