With Razorsync and the QuickBooks Online Integration, you can use Advanced Field Mapping to map fields that do not by default export to QuickBooks using the Custom Fields that exist in QuickBooks.
In this Example, we will be setting up the Salesperson field to export to the Custom Field of Salesperson in QuickBooks Online
Razorsync Advanced Field Mapping
In Razorsync, go to Settings, then QuickBooks, click on Export Settings at the top to access this Advanced Field Mapping.
- Select Salesperson in the left dropdown. This will pull the Salesperson field that was selected when create the service request.
*Please note that this specific Salesperson field only works if the invoice was created by invoicing a work order - On the right dropdown, select the Salesperson field. This is the section that lists the QuickBooks Customer fields. You can edit the available custom fields in QuickBooks. This is located in QuickBooks Online in the Settings under Customer Fields.
This would allow for other advanced mapping like for example, mapping the Assigned Field Worker or the Source field to a customer field in QuickBooks. Please note that the Field Worker Name will need to match exactly to the Employee Name in QuickBooks
Set Salesperson when creating Service Request
- When creating a service request, select the Salesperson that is associated with that specific job.
- Then Invoice this Service Request and Export to QuickBooks like you normally would
When the invoice exports to QBO it will have the Salesperson mapped to that Salesperson field in QuickBooks
Utilize QuickBooks Reporting to track Sales by Salesperson
Using the QuickBooks Standard reports you can then add the Salesperson field to the Invoice report to track which deals are associated with that Salesperson
