Password Help

To change your password, click on My Info in the lower left corner, and then [Change Password].

If you do not know your current password, any Admin on your account can change your password for you by going to Settings > Users > (Select User) > [Change Password].  When prompted, the Admin will enter their own password prior to changing a password for another Admin.

You may also use the Forgot Password option within the sign-in screen.

Past Due / Replace Card On-File

If your account is in a Past Due status, the credit card on file will need to be updated. 

Common Reasons for Past Dues:

  1. Expired Card
  2. Insufficient Funds
  3. Expired Transaction ID (good for 12 months)

The most common issue is an expired Transaction ID.  When you add your credit card to your account, a Transaction ID is generated and lasts 12 months until it expires.  Once it expires, you'll need to re-add the card on file, essentially reauthorizing the monthly payments for the next 12 months.

Regardless of the reason, the solution is to [Replace Card On-File].  You may use the exact same credit card (assuming it isn't expired), but you will still need to enter your card details again to resolve the Past Due notice.

Converting a Quote to a Work Order

To convert a quote into a scheduled Work Order, while retaining the quoted Service Items, you will need to meet two criteria:

  • The quote needs to be in an Accepted status
  • Enter a Date/Time for when you'd like the Work Order to be scheduled

Once those two pieces are in place, click the [Convert] button.  The system will create a Service Request and Work order on the date and time that was chosen within the Quote.

How Do I Sign Up For RazorSync?

You start RazorSync with a free trial. We’ll collect your credit card information after your trial when you’re convinced RazorSync is right for you.


How Does a Free Trial Work?

Your Free trial provides you with a full version of RazorSync (Enterprise Package) and the only limitation will be an inability to process credit card payments. This requires applying for Merchant Services through RazorSync. Otherwise, you get the full experience of the depth and breadth of the RazorSync Software and Mobile app, so you know exactly what you’re getting when you become a RazorSync customer.


Do I Need to Pay for a Year Upfront?

Yes and No. You are welcome to pay month-to-month, however, you'll receive a 15% discount on the monthly package rates when you pay annually.


What is the Cost of RazorSync?

We offer 4 unique (annual) pricing package plans based on your business size and needs.

Are There Any Separate Add-On Fees?

Yes. RazorSync customers can optionally add additional features like; QuickBooks Desktop or Online Sync, Advanced Reporting, Route Optimization, or Inventory Management. Depending on the package, some of these add-on features are included at no additional cost. See ‘Additional Features’ for monthly costs per package or consider discussing your specific needs with one of our RazorSync Account Executives who are ready to answer any questions you may have.


Do I Need to Buy the Activation Program?

Yes. All new RazorSync customers purchase Activation to ensure they get started on the right foot with their new field service management efforts. RazorSync is much more than just using a bunch of software features to get the job done; it’s about transforming your service business to be more efficient, customer-centric, and profitable. It's much easier with the RazorSync Activation Program, and with the personal 1-on-1 support of our Customer Success Representatives.


What is Meant by "User"?

A User is any person who uses your RazorSync software. Moreover, "encourage" each of your Users to log into RazorSync on multiple devices (e.g. their computer, phone, and tablet) but each will only count as 1 User. Each of our Packages is 'right-sized' to include a specific set # of Users however you can optionally add Users beyond the number included.


What Happens to my Data if my Computer Crashes or I Lose my Phone or Tablet?

All of the data kept in RazorSync is synchronized with RazorSync’s servers on the web. This means there is always a copy of your information securely stored. If you lose or break a device, don’t worry. Just log into your account on your new device, and you’ll have access to all of your data.


Does RazorSync Integrate with QuickBooks?

Yes. You can use QuickBooks Online and Desktop with RazorSync.


What Do I Do When the RazorSync App is Updated?

We encourage you to use the most recent version of RazorSync, so you always have access to the most up-to-date features and bug fixes. When a new version is available, the RazorSync app will notify and prompt you to download it. Just click the Update button to begin the download. Your web application will always be up to date. All software updates are free.


How Do I Enter My Payment Information Before My Free Trial Ends?

In the upper right corner of the web application, click Activate Now, or select Settings > Company > Account Payment, and enter your credit card information for your monthly subscription to RazorSync.


How Do I Pay For RazorSync's Service?

A credit card is the only way to pay for RazorSync. Your credit card will be billed monthly for 30 days of service. RazorSync plans are paid on a month-by-month basis. You can cancel service at any time.


I Don't See my Industry on your Website, Will RazorSync Work For Me?

RazorSync was developed to accommodate most service businesses. We cannot list every industry on our site, so if you do not see your industry listed, know that RazorSync could still work for your business.
